Rajasthan High Court Directs Ajmer Authorities to Protect Natural Water Bodies
The Rajasthan High Court has directed authorities to take necessary steps to protect natural water bodies, drainage channels and catchment areas affected by development activities in Ajmer.

The Rajasthan High Court has emphasised that urban development must not come at the expense of natural water resources.
The directions were issued while disposing of a Public Interest Litigation concerning the alleged impact of the Prithviraj Nagar Yojana in Ajmer on natural water bodies and drainage systems.
