APEDA Facilitates Export of Kullu Sinduri Pomegranates to Dubai
APEDA has facilitated the export of 1.3 metric tonnes of Sinduri pomegranates from Kullu to Dubai, highlighting growing opportunities for Indian agricultural products in international markets.

India's agricultural export sector has received another boost with the facilitation of 1.3 metric tonnes of Sinduri pomegranates from Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, to Dubai. The export initiative was supported by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority, which works to promote Indian agricultural products in international markets. The development highlights the potential of regional fruit varieties and the importance of connecting farmers with global buyers. Agricultural exports can create additional income opportunities for farmers while encouraging improvements in packaging, quality standards, logistics and supply-chain management. The initiative also demonstrates how local agricultural products can gain international recognition through organised export support.
