Diwali shopping rush: Ajmer markets face heavy traffic congestion

Ajmer's main shopping areas have witnessed increased footfall ahead of Diwali. Narrow market lanes and roadside temporary stalls have added to congestion. Traders have raised concerns about the movement of large vehicles and e-rickshaws in busy areas. The Ajmer City Traders' Federation has reportedly demanded restrictions on larger vehicles to improve access for customers.
